HARTLEY Wintney will play their first ever game in the Southern League Division East at home on Saturday August 12, when Northwood will visit.

Two days later, last season's Combined Counties League champions are on their travels to Beaconsfield.

The Row's second home game on August 26 when Hanwell are the visitors.

Boxing Day will see Hartley at home to Marlow and they will finish their first Southern League campaign at home Aylesbury.

This season up to four teams could get promoted, while only side is relegated due to the changes to the number of leagues at this level.

Hartley's joint manager Daniel Brownlie said: "It's great to start at home, we are expecting a big crowd with sales of season tickets being higher than ever.

"There is real excitement within the club and around the local area about the season ahead. Everybody is looking forward to getting started.

He added: "Plenty of work needs to be done between now and then, but the boys are up for the challenge and working towards being in the best condition they can be come the August 12."
