TADLEY Calleva bounced back to winning ways in fine style with a 5-1 home victory over Andover New Street in the Wessex League Division One.

Cameron George led the scoring with a brace, while their were single strikes for Cian Condon, Brett Denham and Kallum Thomas.

The result leaves them eighth in the table and they start 2017 with a toughest game possible as they face a visit from leaders Hamble Club.

the game will see two of the leading scorers in the league go head-to-head as Denham has netted 22 times for Tadley and Dougie Rowe has the same tally for Hamble.

Only Baffins Milton Rovers frontman Ryan Pennery has scored more goals in Division One this season.

After the Hamble encounter and a trip to Downton, Tadley will then face Team Solent in Wessex League Cup quarter-final tie on January 16.

Dolan went and watched the premier outfit on Tuesday night, as they beat Fawley 3-1. He will now be looking to plot their downfall later this month.
