Tadley Calleva's game at Cowes Sports is abandoned after pitch floods
WESSEX League Division One leaders Tadley Calleva will travel to Cowes Sports for the second week running, after their game on the island was abandoned on Saturday.
Tadley were trailing 2-0, when the referee called a halt to the game on the hour mark.
Tadley boss Danny Dolan said: “It was the right decision as it was getting dangerous and the pitch was flooded due to the heavy rain.”
Tadley will welcome back leading scorer Brett Denham for this week’s trip to Cowes as they face one of the sides tipped for promotion at the start of the season.
