TADLEY Calleva booked a dream trip to the Soccer AM Stadium to face holders Basingstoke Town, in the second round of the Hampshire Senior Cup, after they beat visiting Alresford 3-1.

The home side were 2-0 at the break, thanks to Scott Kinge, as he headed home a cross from James Tennant and then Mario Nurse put away a penalty at the second attempt.

Alresford pulled a goal back after the break, again from the penalty spot, before Brett Denham was sent clear to net Tadley’s third.

Tadley boss Danny Dolan said: “It has been a great week winning in two cup competition and now we are looking forward to playing Basingstoke. We will be massive underdogs.”

Tadley face Basingstoke on Tuesday night, but before this they are back in Wessex League Division action as they entertain Hythe and Dibden (kick-off 3pm).
