READING enjoyed a 2-0 pre-season victory at League Two Bristol Rovers on Tuesday evening.

Dominic Samuel and Nick Blackman were on target for the Championship side with Tariqe Fosu claiming the assists on both goal either side of the break.

The Royals opening goal came on 41 minutes as Fosu picked out an excellent run for Samuel, and after his first shot was saved he put away the rebound.

The lead was doubled on 69 minutes after sub Blackman hammered home from close range, as he completed a nice move which involved Fosu and Jordan Obita.

Reading are in action again tomorrow night when they travel to Wycombe Wanderers' Adams Park ground to face Premier League Swansea City (7.45pm) and then on Monday they are away at Crawley Town (7.45pm).
