HARTLEY Wintney made their exit from the Aldershot Senior Cup last night, going down 4-1 away at fellow Combined Counties League Premier Division side Camberley Town.
Ross Cook had the village side ahead after just two minutes but Camberley soon levelled from a corner, before taking the lead just before half-time. Two further goals in the second half killed the game off and it’s Camberley who progress to the final of the competition.
Hartley return to league action on Saturday, when then host struggling Frimley Green at the Memorial Ground.
Tadley Calleva’s Basingstoke Senior Cup game against Hungerford Town was postponed due to a frozen pitch. They are due to host Laverstock and Ford in the Wessex League Premier Division on Saturday.
