PLAYER-MANAGER Ben Dillon was the Hartley Wintney hero on Saturday, scoring the goal that secured his side a 1-1 draw away at Raynes Park Vale in the Combined Counties League Premier Division.
The visitors found themselves behind after just three minutes, Simon Moore giving Raynes Park an early lead, and Hartley remained a goal down at the break.
The home side had a man sent off in the second half and the village team took advantage, Dillon striking to level the scores, but they were unable to go on and win, also ending the game with 10 men.
As a result, Hartley remain seventh in the table, but they have a break from league action tomorrow night, travelling to Camberley Town in the semi-finals of the Aldershot Senior Cup.
