ROSS Cook claimed a hat-trick as Hartley Wintney beat Farnham Town 4-3 to progress in the Aldershot Senior Cup last night.
The youngster, who has made a very impressive start to life in senior football, opened the scoring, only for visiting Farnham to level from a free-kick.
Cook’s second goal and Josh Drew’s strike had Hartley 3-1 ahead, while Cook’s hat-trick strike made it 4-2 after Farnham had pulled a goal back.
The visitors refused to give in, reducing the deficit to a single goal again, but Hartley held on to reach the next round.
The village side sit seventh in the Combined Counties League Premier Division table going into a trip to Spelthorne Sports, who are one place above them, on Saturday.
