HARTLEY Wintney and Tadley Calleva will both be looking to bounce back to winning ways this week after going down to defeats on Saturday.

Hartley's Combined Counties League Premier Division challenge continues to falter and they were beaten 2-1 away at Farnham Town on Saturday.

The village side sit 14th in the table ahead of a trip to struggling Colliers Wood United tomorrow night. They still have games in hand over the sides above them, but a big improvement in form is required if they are to challenge near the top of the table.

Tadley Calleva manager Danny Dolan described his side's display as "awful" after they went down to a 3-0 defeat away at 10-man Hythe and Dibden United.

The visitors were two goals down when Hythe had a man sent off with 35 minutes on the clock. Despite this, they were still second best for the remainder of the game, conceding a third goal after the break.

"We were awful to be honest," Dolan said. "We did not turn up all over the pitch and were beaten by the better side on the day."

The result leaves Tadley 11th in the Wessex League Division One table ahead of a trip to struggling Fleet Spurs tonight.

"We have got to try and pick up three points at Fleet," Dolan added. "It's important that we get a win before Saturday, when we face a tough trip to Petersfield Town."

AFC Aldermaston went down to a 3-0 defeat away at Otterbourne in the Hampshire Premier League and sit 14th in the table.

Overton United's home game against Locks Heath was postponed due to the lack of a referee.

Aldermaston are without a game this weekend, while Overton travel to Southampton League side Nursling in the Hampshire Intermediate Cup.
