HARTLEY Wintney crashed out of the FA Vase on Saturday, losing 5-1 away at Erith Town in the second round of the competition.
The visitors struck first, Sam Argent giving his side an early lead, but Southern Counties League side Erith hit back to take a 2-1 advantage into half-time.
They extended their advantage early in the second half, while two goals in the space of a minute made the game safe late on.
Hartley have now lost four games in a row, a run they will be keen to end tomorrow night, when Mole Valley visit the Memorial Ground for a Combined Counties League Premier Division match.
