THE last six games of the Basingstoke and District Sunday League season were played out last Sunday.

In Division One, champions Tron played an uncompetitive game against the already relegated bottom side Affini Technology.

The champions were 1-0 down after 10 minutes, but Ross Cook equalised , after converting a pass from Dave Parry from 18 yards out. Affini restored their lead from the penalty spot, after James Jupp was brought down and stood up to take the kick.

Once more Tron levelled things from a penalty of their own, after Cook was fouled and he stepped up to score.

Before the end of the game, Cook completed his hat-trick as the game ended 3-3.

Republic of Chineham lifted themselves from fifth to third after a 3-2 victory over Oakley, with goals from Sam Nicholls, Adam di Manbro and Stuart Austen.

The hosts scored either side of the interval to take a 2-0 lead, after which Oakley were denied a penalty.

The visitors did close the gap to 2-1 but Chineham stretched their lead to 3-1, which was too big a gap to close.

Bramley United secured promotion with second spot in Division Two, after a 3-2 win over UWS, consigning their visitors to the drop.

North Warnborough started with only 10 players against AFC Soldiers, but Sean Delfosse shrugged off the disadvantage to put them ahead 1-0 after 20 minutes.

The visitors levelled through Taylor Watts 1-1, before Billy Shepherd crossed to Ryan Pilley to head the hosts back into a 2-1 half-time lead. Then Soldiers drew level with a through ball that confused the defence enough to concede an own goal.

On 75 minutes Hadley edged Boro ahead 3-2 and, while Soldiers pressed for an equaliser but Delfosse broke away to finish 4-2.

With little to play for in Division Three, Soldiers Return Reserves beat Overton United in their last game 6-3.

Team FC saw off Chineham Athletic 7-3.

Brendan Vickery opened the scoring for Team on 15 minutes, Ryan Stephens added two more on 27 and 28 minutes.

Vickery then ran past three players and rounded the goalkeeper and just before the interval he completed his hat-trick to make it 5-0.

After half-time Craig Hine and Ashley Williams, the only players not to score for the side all season, both netted to take Team's season tally to 102 league goals in 18 matches, an average of 5.7 goals a game, as they finished third.
