SHERBORNE Saints have gone two points clear at the top of the Basingstoke and District Division Two after they beat Origin Headley 6-2 at home.
Saints went into a 3-0 lead. Alex Izzo scored the first from a Tobi Judd pass and then Dan Grimes cut the ball back for Judd to net the second, before Izzo scored the third.
Marc Bone converted a penalty for Origin, but a penalty scored by Andy Darmody saw Saints 4-1 up at the break.
Warren Hill added another before Johnny Gurney pulled another back for Origin from a cross by Ashley Russell.
Izzo scored his third from another cross from Sam Hylton.
