AS ALL clubs take a two week break from fixtures, it is Basingstoke Royals who head the Division One table by just one point above Hook.

Their final game before the break saw them win a five goal thriller at Basingstoke Athletic.

Ama Bhuller gave the Royals the lead after 40 minutes, but after the break Athletic hit back through Nathan Read with a nice 20 yarder.

Stephen Price then scored twice, before a 25 yarder from Ryan Evans set up a difficult last 10 minutes.

Bounty United caused a big surprise as they beat Twentyten 2-1.

Twentyten dominated play but failed to score until the hour mark from Joe Hill.

Simon Farrell beat the offside trap as Bounty levelled and 10 minutes from time Jordon Wainwright broke away, his shot was parried but Craig Williamson netted the winner.

Hook saw off visitors Tadley Calleva A 6-2 as Aaron King, Dan Framp and James Adrian made their debuts.

King opened the scoring in the fourth minute and soon after Gary Hibbs equalised.

King struck again and then a brace from Dan Mouradian made it 4-1.

Framp netted number five and Adrian the sixth, before Stephen Burgess scored Tadley's second.

DC UK won 6-1 at home to AFC Aldermaston Reserves to move into third position, as Ricky Waknell scored for Aldermaston. Lorne Howard, Stuart Austen, Ben Nicholls Ashley Edward, Finlay Hall and an own goal replied for DC.
