HOOK moved up to second spot in Basingstoke and District Division One table as they won a very closely fought game against Bounty United.
James Neville had hit the post in the first half for Hook, Bounty also hit the woodwork in one of their many attacks.
It was Neville with the lone goal when his header from a Dave White free -kick proved to be the winner.

Longdog Soldiers lost 3-1 to visiting as Tyrone Payne scored their lone goal. Kieran Alleyne, Richard McCounbrie and Carlos Gonzales netted for AFC Berg.
