TRON enjoyed a 3-0 win over Oakley in the Andover Presidents Cup semi-final tie on Sunday.

A brace from James Tarrant and a third from George Paphiti’s corner, set up a final date against either Arms Athletic or Republic of Chineham in the Final.

Republic of Chineham beat Dayers Fine Foods 4-2 in the Basingstoke and District Sunday League Division One.

Four goals from Ash Elward and singles from Mark Howell and Trent Barrington helped Wheatsheaf to 6-2 victory over the Basingstoke Saints, who Alex Lennard scored a brace for.

The two in-form sides Affini Technology and Bramley United met in Division Two, and Affini took a 2-0 lead from James Just and Darren Turner.

Bramley United pulled a goal back from a contentious penalty in the last 10 minutes, buried by Ramsey Lewis, but Affini held on to win 2-1.

Eastrop Eagles beat Chineham 3-2, as Keith Davies scored twice and Bobbi Frost once. Shane West and Finlay Thompson netted for Chineham, who have lost three times to Eagles this season.

Hampshire Irons started with only nine players against Team FC, but led 2-0 thanks to Charlie Henry and Terry Lock, Irons increased to 10 men, but Team levelled things at half-time.

Mike Pemberton gave Irons the lead again, but Team stormed into a 5-3 lead. Irons pulled a goal back through Ben Wootton, but the game finished 5-4 to Team.

Revolution exacted revenge for earlier league defeat, crushing leaders UWS 5-1 for their third straight home win.
