DALE Bristow was Basingstoke Athletic's hat-trick hero as they beat Hampshire Irons 4-0, to cruise into the final of the Basingstoke A Cup.

Athletic were 3-0 up inside 20 minutes thanks to Bristow’s treble and then added a fourth as Nathan Read's shot sailed in from 40 yards out.

Their opponents will be either Hook or Tadley Calleva A, who play on Saturday. The final is at Winklebury on Saturday April 2 (6.30pm) l TWENTY Ten made the final of the Hampshire Junior A Cup, after a 5-3 win on the Isle of Wight against Osborne Coburg.

Having gone a goal down the visitors levelled as Jake Tanner headed home a Jack Clarke’s corner.

The home side scored again, but it was 2-2 at the break, after Clarke’s corner got caught in the wind and beat the home goalkeeper.

Coburg then took the lead for a third time, but Tanner levelled things again, before sub Carl Pearson lobbed the home goalkeeper and then set-up Joe Osborne for his side's fifth.

Twenty Ten will now face another Isle of Wight side Ryde Saints in the final on Saturday April 16 (2.30pm) at Christchurch FC’s ground .

Ryde beat visiting Tadley Calleva A in the other semi-final 3-0, as the visitors were reduced to eight men.

They led 2-0 at the break and five minutes into the second half, Lee Champion was shown a second yellow card for dissent to the referee.

Tadley were not helped by a very poor pitch and Andy Johnson was also dismissed after he received two yellow cards and Ryde scored a third.

The visitors were reduced to eight men when Gary Hibbs was shown a straight red card for swearing at the referee.
