A MAGNIFICIENT first-half hat-trick from Joe Hill and a brace from Lee Neil helped Dayers Fine Foods to an unassailable lead at half-time against Andover Sports in their North Hants Senior Cup semi-final.

Jack Clark added a second-half strike to make the final score 6-1 and they will meet Wheatsheaf or Tron in the final.

Bramley United were a goal down after only 10 seconds in their North Hants Chris Price Cup semi-final tie against visitors Revolution.

However, they equalised from Stuart Leddy's 50-yard shot and after the break, Colin Bell made it 2-1 to Bramley, but in typical cup tie fashion, Revolution came back to lead 3-2.

Bell got his second goal and then Bramley scored a late winner, to set up a final date against Nether Wallop at New Street Andover on March 31 (7.30pm).

A Basingstoke Saints' side, depleted by illness and injury, drafted in six of their youngsters from the reserves to fulfil the fixture, but suffered their worst ever league defeat, going down 18-0 to Basingstoke and District League Division One leaders Soldiers Return.

Scorers for Soldiers were Alex Izzo (7), James Hartwell (4), Jamie Galpin (3), Grant Smart, Freddie Cloke, Cobi Judd and Stuart Cubbage.

Affini Technology, second in Division Two, fell behind 1-0 to bottom side North Warnborough to a Mark Beasley free-kick after just 10 minutes, but led 3-1 at the break.

Ryan Thorpe scored for 'Borough, but Affini Technology won 4-2 in the end as Nick Jupp and Aaron Burt both scored braces.

Chineham had an early penalty at home to Hampshire Irons saved by James Christmas, but they still went 2-0 up before Alex Brundell reduced the deficit with a fine strike from outside the area.

They went onto win 6-2 as Dan Greenwood (4) and James Hanley (2) scored, while Chris Arnold scored Irons' second.

The only game in Division Three, saw leaders North Warnborough Reserves beat Chineham Athletic 3-0, as Sean Delfosse scored a brace and Jay Gibson got the other.
