SUPER sub Lee Neale scored twice in the second-half as Basingstoke and District Sunday League side Dayers Fine Foods booked their place in the second round of the Kelvin Cup with a 4-2 win over Broughton.

Brett Denham pulled a goal back, but the Royals romped away a 7-1 win their third in a row, as Mark Horton grabbed a brace and their were single goals from James Gilham, Ashley Taylor, Stuart Urquhart, James McIntosh as well as an own goal.

Soldiers Return beat Tidworth Town 5-2 as they never looked back after Freddie Cloke netted their opener after 15 minutes from a corner.

Alex Izzo, making his first start of the season, hit the second and by half-time, Warren Hill had increased the lead to three with a 30-yard volley, before Tidworth got back into the game with a penalty.

Revitalised, the visitors followed up with a second, but two late breakaway goals from Cloke completed the victory.

In a high scoring encounter Wheatsheaf narrowly lost 7-6 to Andover Sports.
