HIGH-FLYING Sherborne St John crashed out of the Basingstoke A Cup at the first hurdle, losing 5-1 away at TwentyTen.
Jordon Wainwright stole the show for the hosts, finding the net four times. He opened the scoring with a rebound on 15 minutes and tapped in the second 10 minutes later.
James Lovell pulled one back for Sherborne from Ibrahim Waheed's flick, but Wainwright made it 3-1 after the break and Joe Osborne added a fourth before Wainwright completed the scoring late on, setting up a quarter-final away at Tadley Calleva A.
Tron are through to the last eight of the Basingstoke B Cup after a 3-1 win over Basingstoke United.
Richard Kalwarczyk opened the scoring on 25 minutes with a clever chip, Ben Nicholls doubled the lead soon after and Sam Nicholls fired in from 35 yards to make it 3-0 at the break.
United improved in the second half, with Gus Reis going close on two occasions before Tom Hartley beat the offside trap to net a late consolation.
AFC Aldermaston A could not raise a team to play Herriard Sports.
