JUST two matches into the season, only Oakley have a 100 per cent record in Basingstoke and District Sunday League Division One.

They hosted Tron, another side who had won their opening game, but Oakley took an early lead through Samie Aldoori.

Dave Parry levelled for Tron, only for Dan Bloma to put the home side back in front before half-time. Nathan Rae got a second equaliser for Tron, but Bloma grabbed the winner to earn his side all three points.

Dayer’s Fine Foods led FC Basing 2-0, 3-2 and 4-3, but they could not shake off their opponents and the game ended in a 4-4 draw.

Joe Hill hit a hat-trick for Dayer’s, with Jordan Wainright also finding the net. Basing scored through an own-goal, Daniel Belcher and Matthew Osborne, while Jack Barrett earned them a point with three minutes left.

Basingstoke Royals dominated possession in the first half against FC Everest, but only had Jamie Grove’s goal to show for their efforts. Steven Price doubled the lead with 20 minutes to play.

Goals from Lewis Harris and Ben Nicholls had Republic of Chineham in control at home to Wheat-sheaf, but Ashley Elward pulled one back before half-time. Nicholls’ second goal of the game made it 3-1, but a Carlos Gonzalez penalty and Trent Barrington’s strike earned the visitors a 3-3 draw.

Basingstoke Saints took the lead through Walter Ndoro after 20 minutes at Soldiers Return, but goals from Cobi Judd and Stuart Cubbage had the hosts ahead at half-time. After the break, Freddie Cloke converted a penalty and Judd curled home his second of the game to give Soldiers a 4-1 win.
