Soldiers Return knocked out of Andover President's Cup
SOLDIERS Return made their exit from the Andover President’s Cup at the quarter-final stage on Sunday, losing a two-goal lead to crash out in extra-time.
First-half goals from Jamie-Lee Galpin and Alex Izzo seemed to have Soldiers in control at half-time, but hosts AFC Wolversdene pulled level in the second period to force extra-time.
The home side went on to win in the extra period, scoring direct from a free-kick.
