LAMB Inn recovered from losing a two-goal lead to beat Basingstoke Saints 7-3 in Basingstoke and District Sunday League Division One.

Goals from Harry Rudge and Mark Howells seemed to have Lamb in control, but Saints hit back to level the game before half-time. The visitors recovered to win the game after the break though, with Rudge scoring three more goals and Steve Gonzales and Louis Vickery also finding the net.

Republic of Chineham recorded their third win of the season over Oakley, beating their visitors 5-0.

FC Everest extended their lead at the top of Division Two with a 5-0 victory over second-placed North Warnborough Two, while Hampshire Irons secured their first point in five games, drawing 1-1 with UWS.

Chineham kept their hopes of a second place finish alive with a 4-1 win away at Oakley Reserves. Kieron Alleyne scored twice, with Dan Greenwood and Jake Burrows also finding the net.

New Inn claimed a 4-0 win away at bottom side RAF Odiham Blades.

Division Three leaders Eastrop Eagles won 6-1 away at Chineham Reserves. Keith Davis hit a hat-trick and Josh Bromley also found the net for Eastrop, while Tyler Andrews got Chineham’s consolation goal.

Soldiers Return Reserves also claimed a 6-1 win away from home, beating AFC Golden Lion. Josh Buckingham and Joe Allnutt both scored twice for Soldiers Return, with Cobi Judd and Pawel Derbot their other scorers. Aaron Burt was the sole Golden Lion scorer.

Chineham Athletic were beaten 3-1 by visiting Team FC.
