KYE Theodore scored all four of his side’s goals as Tadley Calleva A reached the semi-finals of the Peter Raynbird Cup with a 4-2 win over visiting Basingstoke Royals on Saturday.

Theodore completed his hat-trick before the 35 minute mark to put Tadley in control. Stephen Burgess created the opener after 15 minutes, while Theodore headed home an Andy Johnson cross to double the lead and netted the third from the penalty spot after Johnson was fouled.

Royals hit back after the break, Nick Willcock and James McIntosh reducing the deficit to a single goal, but another Theodore penalty, awarded for a foul on Ben Todd, made the game safe in added time.

Hook also progressed to the last four, beating lower league Winklebury Wizards 4-1. Goals from Andy Parker and Mark Beagley had Hook two up at half-time and Aaron King added a third on the hour. Ben Clark pulled a goal back for Winklebury, but Tom Davies netted to wipe out any thoughts of a comeback.

North Warnborough beat local rivals Hook Reserves to reach the last four of the North Hants Junior Cup.

Ben Salisbury had Warnborough ahead and while Hook’s Jack McKee levelled, he then saw red for a late tackle and Jason Williams netted the winner. Hook ended the game with nine men, goalkeeper Joe Cousin receiving a second yellow in the closing stages.

Kingsclere beat Sutton Scotney 8-1 to join North Warnborough in the last four.
