GOALS from Michael Moray and Ciani Thomas gave Tron a 2-0 victory over visiting Basingstoke Saints in Basingstoke and District Sunday League Division One.

Elsewhere, Republic of Chineham secured an easy 5-0 win over Kaiser Wessex, while Oakley beat South View 8-3.

Unbeaten FC Everest extended their lead at the top of Division Two with a seventh straight win, beating second-placed UWS 4-1.

North Warnborough II took over second place thanks to a 3-1 win over visiting RAF Odiham Blades. John Peridot opened the scoring for the hosts and while Nick Burrows levelled before half-time, Ryan Thorpe netted twice after the break to give Warnborough all three points.

Chineham Athletic survived an early scare to beat DG Athletic 5-1 in Division Three. Bottom-of-the-table DG opened the scoring through Kirk Good but Chineham hit back in style, with Dan Gomar and Ben Owen both netting twice and Ollie Owen also finding the net.

Paul Adams bagged a brace, with Kirk Smith, Keith Davies and Nathan Bennis also finding the net in Eastrop Eagles’ 5-2 win over AFC Golden Lion. Jamal Miah and Aaron Burt were the Golden Lion scorers.

Basing United enjoyed a 5-2 win away at Soldiers Return Reserves.

James Graham scored twice to put Basing ahead and while the hosts pulled one back through Joe Allnutt, Graham completed his hat-trick to leave his side 3-1 up at the break. The hosts then saw Dean Nurse in the Basing goal save a penalty and while Connor Izzo did score for Soldiers Return, Lee Donovan and Lewis Hall strikes put the result beyond doubt.

Team FC won a nine-goal thriller against visiting Chineham Reserves to extend their winning run to six games. Mike Thomas and Ryan Stephens both scored twice for Team, with Mark Frost also finding the net. Chineham’s goals came from Adam Ennis, Serge Holland, Jacob Deakin and Kyle Buckland.
