TADLEY Calleva A progressed into the quarter-finals of the Peter Raynbird Cup with an 11-0 victory over struggling Welly Old Boys.

Welly held out for 20 minutes before a Martin Wild own goal set Tadley on their way. Kye Theodore then netted twice and Stephen Burgess added a fourth before half-time.

Seven more goals followed after the break, with Theodore getting three more to take his tally to five. Burgess scored two more to complete his hat-trick and Kieran Monger also found the net twice.

Tadley’s reward is a last-eight encounter against Basingstoke Royals, who beat Bounty United 5-0.

Nick Willcock opened the scoring after just 19 seconds and the visitors never looked back. Craig Williamson and Brad Neal both scored own goals as Royals took control, with Steve Stansbridge and Steve Horton finding the net to complete the scoring.
