OVERTON United have been given a tough draw in the first round of the Basingstoke Senior Cup, as they have been drawn away to Southern League outfit Fleet Town.

Hook also face a stiff test as the Basingstoke and District League side have a trip to Wessex Leaguers Andover New Street.

These games need to be played by Saturday October 25 and the draw for the next round will be made on Thursday October 9.

There is only one game in the first round of the North Hants Senior Cup, with Alresford taking on Winchester City.

The other seven teams in the competition, Andover New Street, Fleet Town, Ludgershall Sports, Stockbridge, Tadley CallevaOverton United and Whitchurch United, all received byes into the quarter-finals.
