THERE were plenty of goals in the Basingstoke and District Saturday League Division Two game between Overton United B and Bounty United.
Matt Love and Phil Case had Bounty two goals ahead, but several own-goals and strikes from Archie Fletcher and Craig Ralph had Overton 6-2 ahead at one stage.
Mitchell Stokes and Jordon Willis pulled two further goals back, but Dan Hargood completed a 7-4 victory for the home side.
AFC Aldermaston A beat AFC Berg 4-2. Andy Hynes put Aldermaston ahead and while Kieran Alleyne levelled the game, Tom Cooper restored the lead before half-time.
Further goals from Cooper and Hynes made it 4-1 before Alleyne netted a late consolation goal for Berg.
There were also wins for Sherborne St John Reserves, who won 3-1 away at Basingstoke Labour Club, and Basingstoke United, who beat hosts Herriard Sports by a single goal.
The match between Preston Canover and Winklenury Wizards was abandoned on 51 minutes after Winklebury's Lee Garrett suffered a broken leg. His side were 1-0 up at the time thanks to Hugo Carlos' strike, but the game will probably be replayed.
