THE Basingstoke and District Football League season will start on the weekend of September 6 and 7.

There will be no games on both the Christmas and New Year weekends.

The Saturday Section will run with 28 teams, providing New Inn continue, with nine teams in the Premier Division, nine in Division One and 10 in Division Two.

The only withdrawal was Old Basing Rangers in the Premier League.

Newcomers to Division One are North Warnborough 2014 – and Winklebury Wizards have moved up from the Peter Houseman Youth League into Division Two.

The Sunday League has 23 teams, with Division One and Two having eight clubs.

Division Three will have seven teams and they will play each other three times, with the expenses of the third match shared between the two clubs.

The Saturday and Sunday League formations are as follows:

Saturday League, Premier Division: Basingstoke Royals, Bramley United, Hook, Sherborne St John, New Inn, Skewers, Soldiers DC (formerly Popley FC), Tadley Calleva A and Welly Old Boys.

Division One: Chineham Albion, DJS Telecoms, Hampshire Irons, Hook Reserves. North Warnborough 2014, Overton United A, Pure Spartan, Twenty Ten and Welly Old Boys Reserves.

Division Two: AFC Aldermaston A, AFC Berg, Basingstoke Athletic, Basingstoke Labour Club, Bounty United, Herriard Sports, Overton United B, Preston Candover (formerly Bengal Brasserie), Sherborne St John Reserves and Winklebury Wizards.

Sunday League, Division One: Basingstoke Saints, Dayers Fine Foods, Kaiser Wessex, Lamb Inn, Oakley, Soldiers Return (formerly Basingstoke Sports & Social), South View and Tron FC.

Division Two: Chineham, FC Everest, Hampshire Irons, New Inn Sunday (formerly Skewers), North Warnborough Two FC, Oakley Reserves, RAF Odiham Blades and UWS FC.

Division Three: AFC Golden Lion, Chineham Athletic, Chineham Reserves, DG Athletic, Eastrop Eagles, Soldiers Return Reserves and Team FC.
