SIMON Ticehurst’s Heathpark outfit hit top form at Stratton Park as they hammered visiting FC Burghclere 10-1 in division one of the Basingstoke and District Saturday League.
The visitors were not at full strength and had striker Dave Lewis in goal.
They fell behind in the first minute when Chris Dobbie finished off a Russell Williams pass.
Dobbie robbed his man and played Williams through for the second on eight minutes and then Harinda Sanga made it 3-0.
Burghclere pulled a goal back through Nathan Rivers following a Joe Lachacz pass but Williams’ penalty made it 4-1 at the interval.
Burghclere’s Trevor Ford then saw his penalty well saved by Heathpark goalkeeper Andy McCormick and after that the floodgates opened.
Rob McKay headed in a Lewis Bugden cross and Williams completed his hat-trick on 64 minutes.
Williams then put in Ross Mortlock, before he netted a fourth himself from a Leon Duly pass.
Mortlock came up with two late goals to score his hat-trick and end a bad day for the visitors.
