Champions FC Censo start season with a win

BASINGSTOKE and District League Premier Division champions FC Censo started with a 3-1 win against a much changed Sherborne St John side.
Losing Saints manager Trevor Livingstone was pleased with his side’s performance, though.
He said: “We had eight players leave in the summer and are rebuilding. To face the champions was a big task.” New Censo signing Sam Argent gave them the lead on 18 minutes after he had hit the post earlier.
They went 2-0 up before the break from a Matt Bennett penalty.
Argent tapped in his second before Saints replied through Matt Livingstone’s penalty. Censo’s Richardson was sent off for a second yellow just before the end.
