Full-time - Basingstoke Town 2 (Holder-Spooner 5, Sills 31) Hayes and Yeading 2 (Cox 90, Wishart 90+3)
A strange one. Hayes probably deserved to win overall but Town will feel they should have had three points after leading by two goals going into the closing stages.
See Thursday's Gazette for a full report and all of the reaction.
4:53pm
Kuoos Oyenuga tricks his way to a shooting opportunity in the area but Ashley Bayes gets down to turn his effort into the side netting.
4:51pm
YELLOW CARD - Basingstoke Town - Jay Gasson
Gasson challenges Kuoos Oyenuga in the corner, with the referee deeming it illegal and dishing out a harsh booking.
4:48pm
GOAL - Basingstoke Town 2 Hayes and Yeading United 2 (Wishart 90+3)
Left-back Daniel Wishart weaves his way through several weak challenges to take the ball 30 yards and into the area before smashing it beyond Ashley Bayes.
4:47pm
As Samuel Cox smashes in an effort from distance, the referee indicates there will be 10 minutes of added time, mainly as a result of the injury to Nathan Smart.
4:45pm
GOAL - Basingstoke Town 2 Hayes and Yeading 1 (Cox 90)
Tim Sills gives the ball away in a bad area and Hayes skipper Samuel Cox takes full advantage, smashing an excellent effort in from the edge of the area. Game on.
4:44pm
A cross comes in from the left and Ashley Bayes has to help it over the bar.
4:41pm
SUBSTITUTION - Hayes and Yeading United - Yassin Moutaouakil on for John Goddard
4:35pm
RED CARD - Hayes and Yeading United - Tom Cadmore
It will be 10 v 10 for the last quarter of an hour then. The referee actually gave a free-kick against Nathan Smart but it seems Cadmore retaliated with an elbow.
The Town man was knocked out cold and while he walked off, he left the ground in an ambulance, while Cadmore got his marching orders.
4:31pm
A heavy collision between Nathan Smart and Tom Cadmore and it looks like the Town man is out cold. The hosts could be playing the last 15 minutes with 10 men here.
4:29pm
SUBSTITUTION - Basingstoke Town - Stefan Brown on for Delano Sam-Yorke
4:26pm
Toby Little casually gives the ball away when Town have a corner and Luke Williams breaks, with only a fine challenge from Ross Adams stopping the Hayes man in his tracks.
4:23pm
A great ball from Tim Sills almost releases Toby Little but the last defender gets back to shut the chance down.
4:22pm
SUBSTITUTION - Basingstoke Town - Toby Little on for Jordace Holder-Spooner
Jason Bristow switched to 4-4-2 just before half-time and is looking to sure things up on the left side.
4:21pm
Nathan Smart can only flick a Hayes corner on at the near post. It falls to Pedro Monteiro at the back stick but his shot ends up going out for a throw.
4:18pm
Now it's Luke Williams' turn to shoot from range but Ashley Bayes has it covered as the effort bounces wide.
4:17pm
Hayes are still looking for a way back into the game and Daniel Wishart dances through a couple of challenges before firing in a shot that Ashley Bayes is happy to see float wide.
4:16pm
SUBSTITUTION - Basingstoke Town - Nathan Campbell on for Stuart Lake
4:15pm
YELLOW CARD - Hayes and Yeading United - Kuoos Oyenuga
Oyenuga goes down in the box under pressure from Jay Gasson. It's a clear dive and the Hayes striker is booked by referee Christopher Powell.
4:12pm
HAYES HIT THE POST
The visitors pass the ball through Town and Luke Williams hits a low shot that takes a deflection off Matt Warner on its way through. Ashley Bayes gets a vital touch to it, pushing the ball against the post, and the danger is cleared.
4:12pm
Kuoos Oyenuga has looked dangerous today and his drive fizzes narrowly wide. Ashley Bayes would not have got close to that one.
4:07pm
HAYES HIT THE CROSSBAR
But they really should have scored. Ashley Bayes and Jay Gasson got themselves into a terrible mess there, colliding as a low cross came in. The ball fell to Jerome Anderson no more than 10 yards out but with the goal gaping, he smashed it against the crossbar. A bad, bad miss.
4:02pm
Delano Sam-Yorke turns one man and jinks his way past another to get a run on goal but his effort from the edge of the area just does not have enough curl on it and goes wide.
4:00pm
No changes for either side at half-time and Hayes get us back under way.
3:47pm
Half-time - Basingstoke Town 2 (Holder-Spooner 5, Sills 31) Hayes and Yeading United 0
A very one-sided first half, with the side that trails 2-0 on top for long periods. Town have been clinical in front of goal though, while Ashley Bayes has made a string of decent stops.
3:44pm
Nathan Smart has been moved into midfield as Town look to stem the tide and he makes good ground down the right before firing in a low shot that visiting 'keeper Matthew Ingram fails to hold but recovers to gather.
3:35pm
The chances are still coming thick and fast. Hayes force two more saves out of Ashley Bayes, with the 'keeper doing well to stop John Goddard's effort from distance and then saving with his feet after Kuoos Oyenuga wriggles free.
Town break dangerously through Robert Rice but there is little in the way of support, though his angled drive from just outside the area does not go too far wide.
3:31pm
GOAL - Basingstoke Town 2 (Sills 31) Hayes and Yeading United 0
Now that's the definition of scoring against the run of play. Matt Warner floats in a free-kick and Tim Sills rises highest to head home at the far post.
3:30pm
Two more decent saves from Ashley Bayes in the space of a minute as Hayes turn the screw.
First he dives to his left to keep out Jerome Anderson's angled drive, while the resulting corner drops to Samual Cox 25 yards out and his shot is tipped over by the veteran 'keeper.
3:28pm
Wow, what a scramble. Hayes winger Jerome Anderson is put through and nips the ball beyond Town 'keeper Ashley Bayes but then falls over, sparking a scramble on the penalty spot.
There's some desperate defending and Bayes goes on to make a couple of saves before the danger is finally cleared - and Town go close on the counter, Jordace Holder-Spooner's cross flying across the face of goal.
3:25pm
YELLOW CARD - Basingstoke Town - Ross Adams
Adams is turned by Kuoos Oyenuga near halfway and blatently pulls the striker back, earning himself a place in the referee's book.
3:23pm
Kuoos Oyenuga does brilliantly to beat three men before blasting at goal from the edge of the area. Fortunately for the hosts, his effort flies well over.
3:21pm
That's a dangerous moment as Tobi Joseph almost gets in behind from a quick free-kick. He is forced wide though and Jay Gasson gets back well to make a telling challenge.
3:17pm
Despite being behind, Hayes have actually made the better start, passing the ball well. They're a skillful, athletic outfit.
3:04pm
GOAL - Basingstoke Town 1 (Holder-Spooner 5) Hayes and Yeading United 0
Wes Daly's excellent through-ball puts Delano Sam-Yorke in down the left channel. He leaves Pedro Monteiro trailing in his wake as he gets to the by-line and pulls the ball back for Jordace Holder-Spooner.
It's by no means an easy chance for the striker, with the ball at an awkward height, but Holder-Spooner makes the finish look simple, volleying home from six yards to open the scoring.
3:01pm
The first half chance of the match falls to the visitors as a decent move results in Samuel Cox picking the ball up in the area. He shows good feet to fashion a shooting opportunity but blasts well wide.
2:59pm
Town get the game under way. They will shoot down the slope towards the Town End in the first half.
2:56pm
The players come out on a cloudy afternoon in Basingstoke. At least it's not raining today.
2:46pm
Team news - Jason Bristow makes two changes to the side that started Saturday's short-lived trip to Staines. Stuart Lake and Jordace Holder-Spooner coming back in for the unlucky Nathan Campbell and Stefan Brown, whose chance to impress was washed away. Shaun McAuley and Jide Ogunbote remain sidelined by injury.
Looks like it will be 4-3-3, with Holder-Spooner, Delano Sam-Yorke and Tim Sills making up an exciting front three.
Hayes and Yeading feature former Southampton defender Pedro Monteiro, better known as Pele.
