That's two defeats in a row for Town, who were unable to recover after giving away two bad goals.
90+2 min - A good move involving Downes and Frewen puts Warner in down the left. He attempts to beat the 'keeper at his near post but the effort is saved.
79 min - Tardif makes another good save, denying Bryant as he heads a cross from the left at goal.
78 min - Pattison floats in a free-kick that only just evades Ross Adams. That's Pattison's last action as he is replaced by Nathan Smart.
74 min - Both sides make a change, with Jahson Downes replacing Draper for Town and Braintree replacing Marks with Danny Green.
73 min - Tom Bruno hits a volley from the edge of the area but it's easy for Tardif.
69 min - Pratt booked for dissent.
66 min - Gary Frewen replaces Hankin as Town make their first change. Warner slots in at left-back as they revert to 4-4-2.
62 min - Lake produces a brilliant tackle to deny Marks a tap-in after the Town defence are cut open. Davis heads over the bar from the resulting corner.
60 min - Good work from Draper results in Pattison getting in down the left channel - but he drags his shot well wide.
56 min - Hankin booked for a foul 25 yards from goal, with Davis forcing a decent save out of Tardif from the free-kick.
52 min - Great chance for Town as Warner's corner finds Stuart Lake unmarked in the six-yard box - but the midfielder heads wide.
49 min - Marks gets onto the end of a cross from the left at the back post - but is stretching and cannot get his effort on target.
47 min - A cross causes problems in the Basingstoke box and while the home side are able to scramble the ball away, Kenny Davis heads narrowly over from the resulting corner.
46 min - Town kick off the second half shooting towards the Clubhouse end of the ground.

Town have a mountain to climb after missing a golden chance and then giving two goals away.
45 min - Finlay allows Phil Starkey to turn in the area and Tardif does brilliantly to save his angled drive.
43 min - Basingstoke Town 0 Braintree Town 2
Town are caught out at the back again. A simple header over the top goes over Finlay's head, putting Jamie Guy through.
Tardif gets a touch on his shot but it just creeps over the line.
42 min - Matt Pattison yellow carded after kicking the ball away.
35 min - Matt Finlay booked for a foul on Bryant.
32 min - Town go straight down the other end and Pratt forces McDonald into a diving save after getting on the end of a good centre by Draper.
31 min - Big opportunity for Braintree as Town are stretched at the back, leaving Dave Bryant free in the box. Chris Tardif does brilliantly to save one-on-one and the chance goes away.
28 min - Matt Warner crosses low from the left but Pratt is unable to guide the ball home at the near post. A difficult chance and the ball flashes across the face of goal.
17 min - GOAL - Basingstoke Town 0 Braintree Town 1
Town have switched from 4-4-2 to 3-5-2 but the re-organisation takes it's toll. A cross comes in from the left, the Town back line misses it, Sean Marks is given a free header at the far post, and he finds the net.
10 min - Town are passing the ball well and a good move ends with Steve Laidler having a shot from the edge of the area, forcing Braintree 'keeper Nathan McDonald into a full-stretch save.
7 min - Good turn and shot on the edge of the area by Pratt is deflected narrowly over the bar.
5 min - A mistake by Braintree centre-back Michael Alaile gives Draper a clear run on goal - but his shot is poor and goes wide.
1 min - Braintree Town kick off in bright sunshine at the Camrose. Basingstoke are shooting towards the Town end of the ground.
Team news: Gray has switched to a 4-4-2 formation, with Sean Hankin coming in for the absent Jay Gasson in the centre of defence and Greg Draper partnering David Pratt in attack.

Town boss Frank Gray has reiterated his displeasure in Monday's defeat at Weston in his programme notes.
He describes the first half display as "simply not good enough", before adding: "No disrespect to Weston but it is the type of game we should be looking to pick three points up from if we are to remain close to the top end of the table. Let's hope it was a one-off and put it right today."
