BASINGSTOKE Town lost 3-0 to north Hampshire rivals Aldershot Town in a pre-season friendly at the Camrose on Wednesday night.
The home side began brightly but the League Two side soon took control, Marvin Morgan scoring twice and Danny Hylton adding a third before half-time.
Both sides made a number of changes in the second half but neither was able to break through and add to the score.
