BASINGSTOKE Town will be looking to win back to back Hampshire derby games, when they travel to Farnborough on New Year’s Day.

The Dragons roared to victory on Boxing Day, beating visiting Gosport Borough 3-0 with Callum Bunting scoring twice, while Sam Smart got the other.

On the downside, Town suffered three more injuries to Dan Collier, Jordan Goater and Michael Atkinson. This after starting the game, minus Sam Argent, Sam Deadfield and Shane Hollomby.

Town boss Terry Brown is hoping some of the players will have recovered for the Farnborough trip and said: “If I have 11 fit players, then I think we are in with a chance of getting three points at Farnborough.”
