THE last time Basingstoke Town played the bottom placed team in the Southern League Premier Division, they won 8-0 at Gosport.
They will hope history repeats on Saturday, when they travel to new basement side Dunstable, who have lost their last 10.
In fact their home record is as poor as Town’s away record with both having won just once this season. So draw looks the likely result.
Basingstoke boss Terry Brown is hopeful Charlie Kennedy will have recovered from the illness, which kept him out last Saturday, while Dan Collier and Jack McKnight are doubts and Michael Atkinson will miss the trip.
Brown said: “Our next two away games are winnable and we are very much overdue a win on the road.”
On Tuesday night, Town are on their travels again to Merthyr.
