TADLEY Calleva are the only unbeaten side left in the Wessex League Division One, and this weekend they have their toughest test so far with a trip to Christchurch.

Tadley boss Danny Dolan said: “Christchurch were my tip to win the league at the start of the season and they have only lost once, so this is a massive game for us.”

“Our aim all season is a top three finish and this is best ever start to a season I have had the club.”

The Dorset side are fourth in the table at the moment, one point and one place behind Tadley, but they have played two more goals.

The visitors have doubts on Shaun Dallimore and Connor Thorne for the trip.

Last weekend, Tadley brushed aside their FA Vase exit with 2-0 win over visiting Verwood.

Paul Coventry opened the scoring from the penalty spot after he was felled in the box.

After the break, the home side made it 2-0 as Sam Hamilton’s cross was converted by Brett Denham.

Tadley’s reward for the win over Bashley in the Hampshire Senior Cup is a home tie against current Wessex Premier leaders Blackfield and Langley.
