AS PART of a series of national events, Hampshire FA will be running a Walking Football Festival in aid of the Bobby Moore Fund.

This will be held on Sunday July 9 at the brand new facility at Hart Leisure Centre in Fleet from 10am to 1pm.

This festival is in aid of The FA’s Charity Partner, the Bobby Moore Fund and is open to everyone regardless of age or ability.

They are looking to recruit teams for the six-a-side festival, in the age categories 50 to 65yrs and 65 plus.

In addition, they are seeking entries from any individuals aged 18 plus looking to try walking football for the first time.

Entry will be £5 per player and must be paid directly to Hampshire FA. As the FA has kindly agreed to cover all festival costs, 100 per cent of the entry fee will go directly to the Bobby Moore Fund to fund life-saving bowel cancer research.

Once you are registered, you will receive more information about the day itself including a Bobby Moore Fund fundraising pack.

As well as the festival itself, it is hopes to turn the weekend into a county-wide fundraiser.

For more information about the day, please get in touch with Flo Lunn on 01256 853000 (Ext 327) or email Flo.Lunn@HampshireFA.com.
