TEAM FC turned in a five star performance, as they beat Soldiers Return Reserves 5-0, to win the North Hants John Ward Cup last Sunday.

Team started off on the front foot and put Soldiers Returns under pressure every time they touched the ball.

Mark Frost proved menacing as he broke up play and continued to run at the Soldiers defence.

Brendan Vickery had a number of chances in the first half and Ryan Stephens was denied a one-on-one chance.

Stuart Urquhart hit the post after a fine delivery from Connor McKenzie. Team continued to press and with one minute to go in the first half Stephens cut in on his right foot and was brought down in the penalty area. The striker dusted himself down and stepped up and converted the spot kick for a well deserved 1-0 at half-time.

Team made three changes in the second half with Cole, Taylor and Burton being replaced on 50 minutes by Hine, Chatee and Luke Richardson.

Super sub Luke Richardson grabbed a hat-trick after coming off the bench.

His second came from a flick over Stephens head and he powered his header into the roof of the net.

Team made it 5-0 when McKenzie found Stephens with a fine cross and Stephens.

He converted in style with a scissor kick into the bottom right hand.

Jay Stephens at right back had a stand out performance and picked up a man of the match.

Stephens dealt with everything that came at him with confidence and kept the Soldiers strikers at bay.
