BASINGSTOKE Town make their longest trip of the season on Saturday when they travel to King's Lynn.

This a real mid table battle with Dragons 13th in the Southern League Premier Division table, as they are one place and two points behind their Norfolk rivals.

When the sides met earlier in the season at the Ark Cancer Charity Stadium, the Linnets won 2-1, in a game which Town deserved a draw.

Basingstoke boss Terry Brown is hopeful that both George Bennett and Aaron Redford will be back from injury, as well as Rob Atkinson who has missed the whole of 2017 so far due to a broken ankle.

Central defender Joe Gater, who limps off during last weekend's 2-0 loss against Leamington, is a doubt.

Brown is looking for his side to bounce back after last week's disappointing performance, when they lost 2-0 and said: "We have played a lot of games against the top sides recently, so it will be nice to play against a side around us.

"Once again last week we have conceded early and this is one thing I hope we can stop this weekend."
