NORTH Warnborough made a good start with two goals from the deadly Sean Delfosse, but lost 4-3 in the Basingstoke and District Sunday League Division Two against Eastrop Eagles.
The Eagles were able to peg them back to 2-2 by the interval.
Firstly, Elliott Forsey netted from outside the box after good work by Kirk Smith, then Jon Peart equalised with a great header after another fine cross by Smith.
After the break, Paul Adams' cross to Smith at the far post was headed back across goal and converted by Nathan Bennis with a tidy finish to edge the hosts ahead.
This time it was Borough that found an equaliser. The match was settled with five minutes to go, following good build up play by Eagles leading to a free-kick for a foul on Smith just outside the box.
The free-kick was crossed by Lee Bush, with Jamie O’Grady finished off for a 4-3 victory.
