OVERTON United's unbeaten run of five games came to end as they were knocked out of the North Hants Senior Cup by the Andover Lions 2-0.
Manager Greg Restell said: "Andover were the better side on the day and I have no complaints with the result we under performed.
"We created a few half chances and then as we chased the game at the end we conceded another.
Overton return to league action on Saturday (3pm) when Liphook are the visitors, they are one place above them in the Hampshire Premier League.
Restell said: "It is a big game on Saturday as if we win we go above them and get into the chasing pack."
