TADLEY Calleva recorded their second consecutive 3-0 win in the Wessex League Division One, as they time visiting AFC Stoneham were beaten on Tuesday night.

The visitors started the game the better and for the first 20 minutes dominated without carving out any clear cut chances.

Tadley took the lead after 25 minutes as Brett Denham finished a nice team move and then the striker went close again with two one-on-ones.

The first one saw him chip the goalkeeper, but it just went the wrong side of the post and then his next effort was saved by the goalie.

After the break, the home side were by far the better side and Denham took his tally to seven goals in three games, before James Tennant completed the victory.

After the game Tadley boss Danny Dolan said: "Stoneham are a difficult side to play and I am delighted with the 3-0 win especially the fact we kept a clean sheet again."

On Saturday, Tadley, who are ninth in the table with games in hand on everyone, entertain Romsey who are seventh. Then on Tuesday night they travel to lowly Pewsey Vale.
