HARTLEY Wintney extended their lead at the top of the Combined Counties League Premier Division to four points after they drew 1-1 at Bedfont on Tuesday night.

It ended the village side's 100 per cent league start to the season, but did extend their current unbeaten run in the league to 12 games.

The home side went 1-0 up, but Aaron Parfitt with his first goal of the season netted the equaliser.

Joint manager Daniel Brownlie said: "I have to to say I'm disappointed as for 75 minutes we've completed dominated the game, even in the spells where we didn't, we only allowed shots from distance."

"To be in a position where we are disappointed with a point away at Bedfont shows how far we've come. We absolutely deserved the win, but that's football."

The league games continue to come thick and fast for Hartley as they are at home to Westfield on Saturday and Epsom and Ewell on Tuesday night.
