WHITCHURCH United gained sweet revenge on Bournemouth Poppies at the weekend.
Just a week after losing 5-0 at Bournemouth in a Wessex League Premier Division fixture, Whitchurch beat the same opposition 6-0 at Longmeadow to progress through to the first round of the FA Vase.
Danny Phillips found the net four times, with Jack McCarthy and Reece Rusher also finding the net for the Jam Boys, who will travel to Western League side Welton Rovers in the next round on October 31.
Whitchurch return to Wessex League action on Saturday, making the trip to the Isle of Wight to face Cowes Sports.
