DJS Telecoms sent shockwaves through the Basingstoke and District Saturday League by beating TwentyTen 8-2.

Lee Neal opened the scoring after 18 minutes, while Louis Vickery converted Paul Dolan's corner to double the lead.

Neal added a third soon after and while Carl Pearson did pull one goal back, DJS were 5-1 ahead at half-time, Neal completing his hat-trick and Harry Rudge converting from the penalty spot.

Ashley Elward went on to net a second-half hat-trick for DJS, with Joe Osborne netting a second for TwentyTen.

Sherborne St John are setting the pace at the top of the league after beating Basingstoke Athletic 5-0.

Sherborne went ahead on 15 minutes, Ibrahim Waheed scoring from the penalty spot after Sachin Rai had been fouled.

Waheed got a second before the break, with Rai hitting the bar early in the second half as Sherborne dominated. Mukum Limbu added a third on the hour, while substitute Cobie Judd fired in an excellent effort and then turned provider as Luke Morgan headed home.

Basingstoke Labour Club saw their 15-match unbeaten run come to an end with a 4-1 defeat to Hook.

Andy Parker had Hook a goal up at the break, scoring from Dave White's pass, while centre-back Jon Noakes doubled the lead from a Parker corner early in the second half.

Labour substitute Marik Wisakawski hit the post before Cameron George pulled a goal back with a deflected shot on the hour.

The game seemed to be in the balance, but Hook dominated the last 10 minutes, with Andy Haig converting another White cross and Parker setting up Arron King to complete the scoring.

Hampshire Irons claimed a good 2-1 win from their trip to Tadley Calleva A.

Kieran Dent's cross was met by Tom L’Heureux, whose header took a deflection past the goalkeeper to put Irons ahead on 15 minutes.

The lead was doubled five minutes later, Craig Hopper playing Charley Henry through to slot home.

Tadley pulled a goal back on the hour, Dan Walkley finding the net from a corner, and the pushed for an equaliser, hitting the post and seeing another shot cleared off the line.
