OVERTON United claimed their first win of the Hampshire Premier League season on Saturday.
Titch Bloomfield's men failed to win any of their first 10 league games, but they followed up their League Cup victory over Stockbridge with another positive result, beating visiting Paulsgrove 4-1.
The result saw Overton move off the bottom of the table, but they remain 17th, having taken just five points from their first 11 games.
They will be looking to make it three wins in a row on Wednesday, when they travel to Locks Heath, while they host mid-table Headley United on Saturday.
