Jay Rodriguez continued his comeback from injury with a hat-trick as Saints smashed KVV Quick 1920 10-0.
The £7m man, coming back from more than a year out with a knee injury, bagged a treble in a totally one-sided game against the Dutch amateurs.
The tone was set in the first minute as Steven Davis put Saints ahead, with Graziano Pelle and Rodriguez making it 3-0 by 15 minutes.
It was 7-0 at half-time with Rodriguez and Steven Davis scoring again and Pelle bagging another two to secure his hat-trick.
The second half was a slightly less dramatic affair with Jordan Turnbull and Juanmi adding another couple before Rodriguez completed his treble with four minutes remaining.
The match also marked the first full 90 minutes Rodriguez has got through since his injury.
Saints have one game left of their pre-season trip to Holland, the prestige friendly with Feyenoord on Thursday night.
Saints: K Davis, Soares (Turnbull 46), McCarthy, Stephens, Targett (Debayo 46), Ward-Prowse (Tadic 71), Reed, S Davis (Isgrove 46), Clasie (Juanmi 46), Rodriguez, Pelle (McQueen 46).
