Defeat for AFC Aldermaston
A GOAL scored just before half-time condemned AFC Aldermaston to a narrow defeat away at Berks County in the Thames Valley Premier Division on Saturday.
The hosts got the only goal of the game with 40 minutes on the clock to earn a 1-0 win that leaves them just one position behind eighth-placed Aldermaston in the league table.
Aldermaston are in action on Wednesday night, hosting Sandhurst Devels, while they have a semi-final to look forward to on Saturday, when they take on Woodcote Stoke Row in the last four of the Berkshire Senior Cup.
