CELEBRITIES including actor Ralf Little, television presenter Jeff Brazier and reality TV star Dan Osborne will showcase their football skills during a charity football match at The Soccer AM Stadium on Sunday.

The game will see a Basingstoke XI come up against a Soccer AM team led by presen-ter Max Rushden. Other stars from the show, including Rocket, Tubes and Franky Fryer, will take to the field alongside various celebrities.

In addition to The Royle Family actor Little, Brazier and The Only Way is Essex star Osborne, the game will also see EastEnders actor Tony Discipline and Joe Sims and Jake Ashton from Broadchurch pull on their boots.

Proceeds from the game will be donated to Soccer AM’s charity partner, Street League, a national charity that uses the power of football to tackle youth unemployment.

Town boss Bristow, who will manage a Basingstoke XI made up of players from his time at the club, said: “We have been extremely lucky to have the support of Soccer AM this season and the event will be a great opportunity to come together to celebrate a fantastic partnership in the best way possible – playing football and raising money for charity.”

The game will get under way at 3pm on Sunday, with admission costing £5 for adults and £1 for under-15s. After the match, there will be a charity auction in the clubhouse, followed by a set from local band B Yellow, who have rewritten one of their songs in honour of Town’s fantastic season.
