ROGER Federer believes he is ready to shoot down his French Open duck and claim all four Grand Slam tennis titles in 2007.

The Swiss world No.1 made it a perfect start to the year by claiming his third Australian Open title with a 7-6 (7-2), 6-4, 6-4 win over Chilean Fernando Gonzalez in Melbourne Park.

In doing so he became the first player since Bjorn Borg at Roland Garros in 1980 to claim a Grand Slam title without conceding a single set.

But immediately after the match the 25-year-old set his sights on Paris, where he is yet to claim the title and is likely to start as second favourite behind Spain's peerless clay-court specialist Rafael Nadal.

"The French Open is the next big one for me. That's going to be very interesting to see how I'm going to do there," he said.

"I've made one step further every year now. I went from semis to finals. I got closer to Rafa (Nadal), as well. I think it's going to be very interesting."

Meanwhile, Andy Murray has pulled out of this week's Zagreb Indoor because of a blister he picked up in Melbourne.
